Humanity in Action believes that an important test of a genuine democracy is how it treats its minority groups. It also believes that the commitment to democratic values and the protection of minorities cannot be taken for granted today in the United States and Europe.

The main goal of Humanity in Action Poland is to instill in a younger generation a sense of moral responsibility for the strengthening of civil society, in which the rights of all members are equally respected.

In its educational activities, Humanity in Action Poland not only encourages these fellows to become active members of civil society, but also helps them to be responsible leaders committed to the public interest.

This is accomplished through:

  • Advancing the knowledge of youth on human rights and minorities through educational programs;
  • Inspiring young people to be active against all violations of individual rights and encouraging them to take action in the form of projects for disadvantaged groups;
  • Enhancing the practical skills and promoting the professional development of young professionals dedicated to the protection of individual rights and human dignity;
  • Sharing best practices with like-minded organizations and institutions working on human rights;
  • Creating an international, interdisciplinary and intergenerational network of present and future leaders in various fields of social life, united by their shared belief in the need to act to protect human and minority rights.
