Humanity in Denmark Announces the Rwanda Study Trip

September 16, 2015 | genocide, rwanda, holocaust education

September 16, 2015 – Humanity in Action Denmark invites you to join the first-ever Rwanda Study Trip, titled Reconciliation After Genocide. This study tour will examine the history of the genocide, the reconciliation and the present course of Rwandan development.

Only two decades ago, Rwanda endured a genocide that claimed the lives of 800,000 people – followed by local conflict and more violence. Today, Rwanda is recognized for its reconciliation process. But how does a society regain stability and restart development on a background of neighbors killing one another?
