Bio:
Beth is currently pursuing a joint MBA and MA in Global Affairs at Yale, focusing on digital inclusion and internet freedom policies. Most recently, she worked at Freedom House on Middle East and North Africa Programs, designing and implementing human rights programs from Morocco to Iran to criminalize torture, engage women in politics, and legalize free expression. She previously worked with the international non-profit Namati on post-conflict rule of law programs, and spent time with Amnesty International mapping the Arab Spring conflicts. Prior to working in Washington D.C., Beth taught refugee youth in Kenya and conducted an ethnography of the Somali diaspora across Kenya, Western Europe, and the United States. She graduated with honors from Georgetown School of Foreign Service with a degree in International Security Studies and a minor in African Studies and Arabic.
