Amy graduated from Yale in 2010 with a degree in Political Science. She focused on foreign policy, human rights, and social justice issues in the US and abroad, and studied EU politics abroad in Denmark for a semester. Amy spent her summers working for a women's rights NGO in Tunisia (2007), conducting research on women's and children's health in rural Cameroon (2008), and researching and publishing on sex trafficking in Southeast Asia (2009). After graduation, Amy spent a year in South Korea serving as a Fulbright ETA at an all-girls' high school, managing Fulbright Korea's annual magazine, and volunteering with North Korean refugees. In fall 2011, Amy interned at the White House, where she worked on violence against women issues in the Office of the Vice President and then served as a Lantos Fellow in the U.S. Congress. After that, Amy worked as a Field Organizer for Organizing for America (OFA) in rural Colorado. Amy is currently pursuing a joint MPP/JD with the Harvard Kennedy School and NYU Law.
